NEAT ACTIVITIES

Planned with the children, we offer a range of fun, physical, creative or quiet activities, always with the needs of the children in mind.

Clubs are provided, including homework, cookery and sports, which children can choose to do, all on site!

Our NEAT activities

Messy Mondays
Monday

A time to get stuck in and messy with gloop, jelly, shaving foam, playdough and much more…Urrgh!

Makaton sign Language
Tuesday

Run by our training consultant, Jo, This is a fun, interactive singing session using sign language which engages children and helps to support spoken language.

Cookery Club
Wednesday

Run by our healthy eating co-ordinator, Charlotte, children can make delicious fruit cakes or savoury dishes that can be eaten for tea. Dishes include pizza, bolognaise and Chinese dishes for Chinese New Year.

Art and Craft Club
Thursday

A time for children to get creative! A variety of art and craft activities on offer using various materials. Includes junk modelling, papier mache and artwork linked to topics such as Chinese New Year, Valentines day and Easter.

Sports Club
Friday

Run by our sports co-ordinator, Steph, a range of activities and games are organised to give all children the opportunity to get active and have fun!

Children can join in with any of these clubs.
A range of games, activities and toys are provided throughout the session.
Children are free to access any of the resources and choose what they would like to do.
The children’s whiteboard gives them the opportunity to express what they have particularly enjoyed and request future activities.
We constantly listen to what the children would like at their club and do what we can to provide this.
We take time to listen to children read or help them with their homework if they wish to so this.  Our strong links with the school helps us to support the children’s learning but in a fun environment.
